In truth, Narcissa was nervous about what would come of this meeting. Narcissa didn’t want to have to explain herself again, and she didn’t want to get her heart broken by her sister again. Narcissa had left the shop early and done eveything that her good manners dictate she do, she set up for tea--warming it on the stove, and set out small snacks in the sitting room for the meeting between the two of them.
Bellatrix was still young, she’d told herself, so there was still hope that she might change her mind about her allegiances, but being at the age she was, Narcissa knew that the hope grew smaller and smaller each day especially since she was under the influence of her husband.
Narcissa was snapped out of her thoughts by the sharp knock at the door, and she rose graciously to answer it. She smiled when she saw her sister, and was keenly aware of how much older she was then Bellatrix is that moment, but let it pass easily.
“Come in Bella, I’ve made tea.” She said with a gentle smile.
