Peter couldn't imagine why anyone would want to watch his lessons. They were boring, even when he managed something, it wasn't any better or more interesting than any OWL student could achieve. Some things he could do relatively easily, others that should have been easy were now like trying to break rocks with his teeth.
"I don't think so," he said, eyeing the older man, his heart beating at almost rodentian speed. "Anyway he's not been... himself, lately. Hardly anyone has." He wondered if the man was a younger - or older? - version of someone he already knew... but no. He would have remembered those eyes.
