As tears fell from Susan's eyes, Amelia stepped forward and wiped them away from her face gently. "I hope those are happy tears," she teased, giving her a soft smile. "Come on sweetheart, I made us some tea. We can sit down and talk about everything, yeah?" Leading her into the kitchen and pouring them both a mug, she sat down on a stool and motioned for Susan to join her before giving her the cup.
"I'm not the only one who is here. Your Aunt Sally and Uncle Edgar are too. Even your cousin Emmy. This place... its strange but its wonderful sometimes," she explained, putting a hand on her swollen stomach. "I've been here for two and a half years... and I'm getting married soon! You were... are supposed to be one of my bridesmaids!" She told her happily.
Stirring a bit of sugar into her cup she questioned, "I don't want to talk your ear off. Especially if there is anything specific you want to know?" If not she was happy to keep yammering away though.
