"Oh, Frankie." The words left Susan's lips with a sigh, and she put a hand on his shoulder. She knew what that was like. It was one thing to lose loved ones forever, but Susan mused it was just as painful losing someone by not having them remember who you were or your relationship. "This place... it's hard to make connections here because people aren't who you remember, and even if they are, the magic makes it hard to keep them that way." She knew Frankie knew this, and that her words couldn't really make it any better, but it was the best explanation she could give. "It's not logical, and it doesn't make anything feel better."
"So what is your plan, then?" She asked, gesturing to the pots. She was curious about his girlfriend, but she'd wait a bit before venturing down that territory.
