Remus bit his tongue. He didn't mind muggles at all, but Petunia and Vernon were the worst kind of muggles. No, scratch that. They were the worst kind of people, muggle or magical. "Smart boy," he praised. "No one is perfect, but your parents were good, brave people who loved you. Harry, if you ever believe one thing I say, please believe that." He knew older Harry struggled with his placement so he felt desperate to make the young child understand. Yet, Remus wondered how he'd break the news about Hope. Oh, and about James being fifteen. "Let me tell you some stories..."
And he did. He told ridiculous stories about what he, Sirius, and James got up to (just barely managing to keep Peter's name out of it should Harry ask more questions) and how Lily would scold them, but eventually wound up marrying James. He told him about Harry's birth and the first year of his life and how much he meant to them all.
