It felt as natural as anything she'd ever experienced just to kneel there in the grass beside the playground with Rolf. Her eyes lit even more when he changed back into the man she remembered, but he was different somehow, too.
He was happy, but beyond that, there was something else. She raised her hands to his cheeks, tilting her head softly as she took in his appearance. He'd said that he hadn't proposed to her yet, but he was a little older than she knew him with small, subtle changes, "You've been here a while," she concluded, slipping her arms around his neck and pulling herself close to embrace him in a way that she was familiar with. Luna had been accustomed to solitude before she met Rolf, but now she found it hard to imagine spending a long time without him and it made her sad to think that he had missed her for quite some time, "I am here. At least, I feel very much as though I am here."
