It was odd to hear dad come from an adult mouth rather than a kid's. If he hadn't been talking to Bill, or hadn't asked to see him, Arthur was sure that he'd still know it was Bill. It was a surprise to see Bill as an adult when it seemed that only a couple days ago, Arthur had seen him as a five year old.
"Bill. It's so good to see you." Arthur smiled as well. It was wonderful to see his son in person. "I still find it a little hard to believe that you are all grown up. I feel like I've missed so much. And I have so many questions." It surprised Arthur just how many questions had begun to form in his mind. All things that he wanted to ask Bill about his childhood and subsequent siblings, his job, the war...everything. "Did we raise you well?" Arthur asked, finally settling on one question that he really wanted to know.
