"Ice cream it is then," Rabastan replied simply enough, happy with this decision. He had a fondness for it himself, and wasn't exactly sure who in the world wouldn't. Perhaps Rodolphus. He never liked anything remotely enjoyable. He smiled and chuckled a bit at her comment and shook his head, "I think I'll quite like you anyway you are, love." He understood that she was joking too, but he still wanted to make her feel good about herself. He knew in a place like this, or really anywhere in general, being the older of the individuals in a relationship was never easy. Rabastan just wanted her to know it would never bother him.
"Hmm," he said thoughtfully at her omission of not trying any of the rides. "I have tried a few of the slower ones, they are not as bad as I originally thought. Perhaps I can convince you later," he said lightly, raising his eyebrow a bit before ending in a smirk. "But until then, ice cream. And maybe something to drink, would you be alright with that?" Maybe if they were both a bit looser, the idea of a ride wouldn't seem so terrifying.
Arriving at an ice cream vendor, Rabastan had no qualms about ordering something with chocolate, nuts, whipped cream, really the works. He hoped his heaping pile of junk food would allow her to feel more comfortable ordering whatever she desired. Which he also paid for before she could protest. "Anything you want, love," he whispered to her once he was finished.
