Hugo wasn't much of a dancer. Rhythm was something of a foreign concept and he always felt like a git when he tried to pretend he knew how to make it cooperate with his body. He walked into the club with every intention of sitting, drinking, and watching other people make utter fools of themselves with wonky hip gyrations. Hugo didn't know who besides George would show up but he expected to see family.
What he didn't expect to see was his mum there all dressed up. Hugo frowned to himself. What if some bloke tried to pick her up? Figuring he should prevent that from happening, Hugo walked over and joined her table. "Hey," he said, leaving out 'Mum' or 'Hermione' because he still wasn't sure which one he was supposed to use. "Didn't expect to find you here."
