Molly licked her lips slowly to keep the smile from her face. She was not laughing at him. Honestly, she wasn't! It was just so adorable when he became flustered, when he blushed and tripped over his words. It was one of the first things she'd liked about him. It was when he smiled at her, though, that first time they'd met, that she instantly fancied him. They were kids then, but her romantic side wouldn't let go of the notion that they would get married one day.
Smiling finally, she decided something. They both knew their future. Arthur was living their future. So he must know how she had always felt, even though he seemed a little uncertain now. She knelt by the trunk at the foot of the bed and rifled through the contents, amazed that she'd all ready accumulated so much stuff in her short time here. She took out one of her school books. It had come through with her when she arrived in the village, but she hadn't needed it for her classes here.
Closing the lid, she sat on her bed and patted the spot between her and the post. If he sat there, their legs would touch from hip to ankle, and her stomach exploded with butterflies at the thought of that contact. Blushing slightly, Molly opened the front cover of the book and traced what was written there, a fond smile on her face. She looked up at Arthur, closed the book, and hugged it to her chest. "You know more than I do about certain things." She blushed but she didn't break eye contact. She held the Standard Book of Spells, Year 6 out to him. Every year, every time I get a new one of these, I write the same thing in the cover. A wish. A dream that I always had, even when I had other boyfriends."
With a nod of her head, she indicated that he should open the cover. She wanted him to see how she had his name written with hers. How she'd written Mrs. Arthur Wealsey and Molly Angela Weasley in several styles. "You're not pressuring me," she said quietly, "not when I have always wished for you."
