Molly didn't know when Arthur would be over, but she, as soon as they ended their conversation, took a quick shower. She was careful not to get her hair wet, since it didn't need to be washed again, but her face was puffy from crying, and the heat helped with that. Her heart had broken a little when she realised how much Arthur blamed himself for Fred's death. There was nothing he could have done. She didn't know the full details, because she hadn't wanted them, but she was sure no one could have saved him. His nieces and nephews would know him if there was.
She pulled the nightshirt she'd gotten in the park over her head. It wasn't that late, even for a school night, and it was only Arthur. He'd seen her pajamas on more than one occasion when she'd left a book in the common room and gone to retrieve it. He's seen more than that now, a voice in her head whispered, and she blushed crimson at that thought as she quickly pulled on her robe. It was not a bad thought. She liked that she got to share everything with him. Or she would get to. Eventually.
"I wonder if he'll wait for me," she whispered to her reflection as she idly straightened her vanity. Her room was kept tidy at all times. Molly cleaned out of nerves and habit. "I've been waiting for him, but he's already been there." She sighed. "Just because I'm half in love with him and always have been, it doesn't mean he wants me now. Not when I'm so much younger."
With another sigh, she stood and turned on her wireless. She didn't turn it up too loud, but she began to dance around to whatever was on. She didn't know most of the music played, but she really liked "boy bands". Their songs were always catchy. With all the dancing and humming, she missed the knock at the unlocked door.
