Well, it could have been worse. One of his ex-classmates could have caught him muttering at his ice cream like a loon. He had a hunch his uncle was a lot less likely to hold it over him. Draco, in this form, hadn't spent much time with Ted yet, but the man had been kind to him in the few weeks since Draco returned to the village. It made Draco wonder what life would have been like if Ted and Andromeda had been part of his childhood. He knew it did little good to dwell, but thoughts like that sometimes popped up anyway.
He smirked first, but then he relaxed into a genuine smile. "Well, at least it can't disagree, Uncle." He rested the cup in his lap. "You did all this, yeah? Did you know it from home?"
