She supposed that with arrivals there had to be removals to make room. Yes, that made sense but it didn't seem fair. First this place yanks you out of your reality only to tease you with new possibilities then takes them away. It simply wasn't right. Still, Romilda chose to use the opportunity to rekindle old friendships. She recalled how they had mingled at society events back in the day and hoped that she could rekindle some of the friendliness they had shown to each other then.
She didn't know when Pansy would arrive or if she would actually find the energy to leave her home. If she didn't come out Romi would have to find out where she lived and take a bottle over tomorrow. For now though, she was simply going to enjoy learning what she could about the scene here in the village now that it had changed from tropical island back to typical village and pub.
She'd just ordered her second drink and turned to face the door when she saw Pansy come in. Hopping down off the swiveling stool she'd been seated on she approached the other young woman. "Been awhile," she stated with a nod purposefully refraining from asking the typical How've you been that partnered with the statement.
