Who: Rylan and Daphne What: Roomie bonding Where: The beach When: Sunday Rating: PG?
Rylan did not tan. In fact, she couldn't remember being any shade other than pasty in her entire life. Still, she had a serious love for the outdoors, and there was just something to be said for basking lazily in the sun and pretending you were going to turn golden brown some day.
Things had worked out surprisingly well with her room mate situation. She had been placed with another Slytherin girl who wasn't, as everyone seemed to think all Slytherin women were, a complete twat. She was actually quite friendly, and the two hadn't had much down time (what with Voldemort appearing and all) to argue about much of anything- not that Rylan minded in the least.
She hadn't hesitated to invite Daphne out to the beach with her, a jug of fruity (and perhaps slightly alcoholic) beverage in tow. "Why don't they keep this thing year round?" she asked, smiling as she glanced up at the waters. "I don't see why it has to go."
