Bee smiled fondly at Vogg and pushed herself up further as he set out the food. Her mouth was a little agape at the amount, but she knew that he would have no problems eating what she couldn't. Her appetite wasn't exactly back, but she hadn't eaten since breakfast, and he'd gone to all the trouble.
Setting her basket on the end table near her, she smiled up at him. "I'm honoured to share it," she replied in his tongue. "When I'm completely better, I'll make you all the honey cakes you can eat," she promised. Her smile was fond, and she touched his arm in thanks. "I'm better, though. Less sore than I was, and glad to be here, despite how empty it feels."
She looked down as her blue eyes filled with tears. She took a deep breath and let it out in a huff. She didn't see drink. "There's mead in the fridge," she told him. "We can't feast without drinks."
