After undoing the charms that had helped her hair be a bit more "Giselle-like" as per Lily Luna's demands, Ginny quickly hopped into the shower. The water was hot and relaxing and she let herself take a few deep breaths as the spray washed away the make-up she'd had on as well.
She used the time in the shower to process everything that was going on. She'd just met her grown-up daughter, who was completely and utterly brilliant. Of course she would be though. Even at 5 years old, Ginny was completely in love with her baby girl and knew she'd be doing wonderful exciting things with her life. Her boys too. And now she was here with a husband who was 7 years younger than her, which was completely mad, but surprisingly not nearly as awkward as she'd have expected. Not so far anyhow. Remus and Tonks and Colin were all alive and if Ron was to be believed, Merlin was around in this strange and complicated village as well. Everything was a bit overwhelming and maddening, but the shower was helping to wash away some of the uneasiness she'd been feeling about the whole thing.
After about 15 minutes, she toweled off, grabbed the small pile of clothes from outside and changed into them. She recognized the shirt and pants and gave a small smile as she pulled them on. Thankfully they didn't dwarf her too much and she only had to roll the waist band on the pants a couple of times to keep from stepping on the hem. She used her wand to dry her hair which hung in loose curls around her chin.
She made her way back downstairs and smiled when she saw the spread set up in the kitchen. "Oh brilliant. Tea!" She said spotting the teacups. She crossed to the table and took a seat, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "And biscuits! Such a good host." She teased lightly.
