Who: Rodolphus and Bellatrix What: Answering the Call When: Before the battle kicks off Where: Just outside the perimeter where the DE's are gathering
Rodolphus had been on edge since the Dark Mark appeared in the sky. He knew there were others here and but for some reason they hadn't reached out. Then his mark had begun to itch and subsequently burn. The burning hadn't been too intense at first but had become gradually stronger. He knew it would only be a matter of time until his Lord arrived. Rodolphus also knew that this wasn't something his Bella would have missed for anything so reaching out to her younger self had been an immediate reaction.
When she'd agreed to go for a walk with him Rodolphus didn't know where they would end up. It was odd but he felt the need to be protective of her even though he knew full well she could take care of herself. Still, she had yet to do the things he so admired her for and as much as he wanted to bring her full circle, Rodolphus was also well aware that this had to be her choice. It had always been her choice.
"Thank you for agreeing to join me," the last word came out more as a hiss as he felt his mark sear more than it had been when they began their walk. Pausing his steps he took his bearing and felt certain he knew which direction he was being hailed to. "This way."
