Kosmo had never given her much problem. Really if anything, he was far too smart for his own good. Amelia was more than confident that if the dog ran out of anything, he would think of a decent way to get it without totally ruining the house. Or so she hoped anyway. "He'll be alright," she said easily enough, pushing a bit of hair out of her eyes and behind her ears. "I've trained him well."
Thinking about his question she lightly rubbed her abdomen absentmindedly. Though she wasn't really showing yet, she could definitely feel that things were different there already and lately she had a habit of touching it just to remind herself. Remembering he had asked her something she looked up at him, "Uh... maybe a few hours ago? Been too busy worrying about the door for the last hour or two I hadn't really thought about it." Perhaps she should eat something, but she wasn't absolutely starving or anything. And she might have been internally worrying about how long they could be stuck. What if rationing the little bit they had became necessary? "I'm fine though," she muttered, looking down at her feet. Yes, she had asked for cheese fries before he got here, but she was banking on that being pushed on his mind by their current trapped predicament.
At his question about what they could do, a mischievous smile spread across her lips as she looked out at the inventory. "Oh you know, we could always work on our fort building skills," she suggested slyly.
