Part of the reason Amelia wasn't panicking about the door is she didn't see the reason to quite yet. Things went wonky in the village all the time and she figured this was probably one of the instances that wasn't any different. After all, hadn't everyone's hair just been green recently? However what she didn't expect was the door to give way so incredibly easily as Gideon walked right in. Stepping out from behind the counter she made a mad dash for the door as it started to close behind him while calling out, "Try not to let it close again!" but didn't quite make it before she heard the inevitable latch.
Sighing at him and giving an annoyed look she reached out, pushing at the door to demonstrate it's lack of movement. Once again like before, it wouldn't budge. "I was stuck... and now I still am stuck... and now you get to be stuck with me," she said with an eye roll and slight chuckle. If she had to guess, she was guessing the magic wanted people to be stuck in rooms, not outside which is part of how she guessed the door would once again seal itself behind Gideon.
Shrugging her shoulders and moving in close she smiled up at him, "But I guess I appreciate you coming to rescue me nonetheless."
