Gideon wasn't sure what to make of the fact that Amelia seemed to be stuck at her shop. He was definitely uncomfortable with it, but hopefully he'd be able to get her out of there. Maybe the door was jammed shut with some prank spell and he'd have the right idea of how to un-jam it. Either way, he wasn't going to let her be stuck in there, especially not in her condition. Talk about bad timing. She needed to get back home so she could take those potions she needed to take. Gideon wasn't even contemplating the thought that he would fail at breaking her free, or he might've brought those with him. As it was, he only grabbed his wand. That was all he should need, and he never left the house without it.
Walking the relatively short distance to Amelia's shoppe, Gideon took his time. He was in no rush. Mel didn't seem to be panicking yet, so he didn't need to run or Apparate. He'd even stopped to feed the dog first; poor bastard's bowl was empty. That taken care of, Gid stepped up to the door to Amelia's shoppe and gave the latch a try. He'd expected to perhaps have to use an unlocking charm, but that wasn't necessary. The door yielded to him and he stepped inside easily. Confused, he stared at it as it closed behind him, and then looked at Mel. "I thought you said you were stuck?"
