Charity gave a pleased grin at the sight of the popcorn, and gladly took the bowl from Teddy. "No, that's okay, you don't have to," she told him, tossing a few pieces of popcorn into her mouth. "I was just kidding." Glad that Teddy was thinking along the same lines as she was, Charity turned on the telly. "Sounds good to me. If nothing good is on, we can put in a movie," she said, beginning to flip through the channels. Now that it was broad daylight again, she didn't feel as weird being there alone with Teddy. It was really only at night that she felt like she was doing something wrong.
"See anything you like yet?" she asked as she continued changing the channels, stopping every so often on something that looked potentially interesting. Handing the bowl of popcorn back to Teddy, Charity scooted closer so she could lean against his shoulder.
