Draco again. It was an uncomfortable feeling for Remus with both boys, like what comfort he offered one was a betrayal to the other. Alright, young men. Either way, he knew it was ridiculous. He could care about more than one person. He half wanted to tell them both that they had very similar fears and insecurities, but he guessed that wouldn't go over very well with either of them. "Since when is there a quota on people we care about?" He asked instead. "And, you know, you are not the only one who feels like the house gets too full sometimes." He guessed now was as good as time as any to lay it all out. "I wasn't the one chosen as your godfather," he said quietly. "I was the one they suspected of betrayal. I was the one even here that Sirius couldn't relate to. Another version of your dad...well, I always liked to think I was a bit like family, but...that wasn't exactly the case. Not for those versions anyway." He smiled even though it hurt to remember. James wasn't like that now and he knew he couldn't blame him so he didn't, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. "But I absolutely promise you that no one can replace you. No one."
