Harry was glad that Ginny had spent the night on Thursday, but it had dampened whatever enjoyability might have been found in Valentine's day otherwise. Of course that probably would have happened anyway, but Harry still felt bad. He felt bad about a lot of things lately.
He spotted Remus coming out of the kitchen window, and steeled himself. He'd half expected the man not to come - the full moon had only been the two nights ago, after all. He sighed. At least it was nice to know that his former Professor cared that much, even if it was a case of too little, too late.
He hurried to the door and waved Remus in. "You look like crap," he said, with very little ceremony. "You're nuts, y'know, you could have waited." He closed the door against the cold. "At least you came back this time," he added, in a calmer tone.
