Who: Hestia and Megan Jones. What: Getting Megan settled in her room and talking… Where: The castle When: Thursday Evening.
Hestia was a bit anxious. Honestly, since her daughter had arrived, Hestia’s nerves felt shot, but things were getting worse. Megan had made the decision to assert her independence and accept room at the castle, Fabian was ignoring her and well, she still hadn’t decided on what she would do about all of that. She knew she had to tell her daughter, and tell her soon. But at the same time, her daughter had just gone through a traumatic event and while she wasn’t in the hospital anymore… Hestia just felt like if she’d waited, it would just make Megan mad and well, she was damned either way wasn’t she? Plus, it would give Hestia less to worry about (though that wasn’t her primary reason, she couldn’t pretend that it hadn’t occured to her).
Besides, it was all a lot like a bandaid wasn’t it? You just pull it off and hope for the best.
Hestia had finished hanging up some of the clothing that she’d bought for her daughter, before turning to her with a smile. “Are you sure you want to do this sweetie? You can stay with me.” Hestia already knew she would worry about her daughter not being easily accessible, but she also knew that at this age, her daughter could make her own decision, and it wasn’t like the castle wasn’t a fairly safe seeming space.
