She saw someone scrambling up to her before she could really tell who it was. She didn’t like that someone was moving towards her so quickly, and she moved into a defensive position. So quickly that she almost knocked herself over in her attempt. It was painful, even the simplest of movements. Megan felt helpless, and there was little she could do to fix her situation. She grabbed onto a nearby bench to stabilize herself.
She stared at the woman in front of her through red rimmed eyes. She looked vaguely familiar, like someone she should know, but couldn’t quite place. She sounded like Luna, and she knew her name, but this woman was not the sixth year Ravenclaw that she knew, and instead she found herself trying to stumble away from her. She couldn’t trust this, she could be some Death Eater in disguise. She couldn’t know. She didn’t know. She felt crazy.
She stumbled backwards until she tripped, catching herself, just barely on a tree. She hissed with pain. “Jus’ go away.” She rasped out.
