Who: Harry and Lilu Potter What: Clearing the air. Where: Harry and Rons house. When: Sunday evening.
Lilu didn’t quite know where she stood with her father some days. She loved him, and she knew that he loved her, but he didn’t know her. It wasn’t like before, when he was a teenager who had little desire to know his children. He was a man with two very little sons who had yet to know her, and for some reason that seemed to freak her out more.
She felt bad that she’d argued with her father, but Draco had become very dear to her in the village. He’d moved her into his home when she was left alone with a five year old who she had trouble taking care of, he’d been there for both her and Albus when their parents kept disappearing, when she had a fight with her mother or when Scorpius upset her. Over the last year, he’d done a lot of things for her from cheering her up to keeping her from having a panic attack. She didn’t like when people insulted him, and it seemed even more painful when it was her father. Still, perhaps she shouldn’t have said anything at all because she was now even more worried about what Harry thought of her.
Lilu knew that she should talk to her father, but she was nervous. She’d made some brownies, something she knew her father was fond of, and piled them carefully on a plate before heading over to her fathers house. She stood there for a moment, and took a deep breath before knocking and hoping his was there.
