Angelina frowned down at her batter for a beat, before she looked up at him. "She won't hate you, Fred. She's a fourteen year old, so she'll be upset and angry for a while, but she'll deal with it. She'll... realize that you make me really, really happy when you're not being insufferable and, say, not offering to help with making breakfast when you're perfectly capable of cooking bacon on your own."
She gave him a rather pointed look, before sliding the bacon toward him. "I'll do it alone. As much as I might want you there, I don't think Roxie will." Roxanne also had a tendency to get rather dramatic, and Angelina knew that Fred was still often uncomfortable with the entire idea to begin with. The last thing she wanted was salt in the wound for him.
