She looked worried, Fred couldn't help but notice, and though her grip on his arm didn't hurt, it was firm. He smiled, much more honestly this time, and turned his arm to grasp her hand.
"I'll stay as long as you want me," he answered, and pressed another kiss to her lips. "But hurry up. I'm thinking pancakes."
With that, he hurried down the stairs and grabbed his journal to leave a note for George stating that he would be a bit late, but that he'd almost certainly be there before noon.
