She didn't flinch, that would have gone against her attempts at courage but she did keep her eyes on him, open and wide. Logic stated that he had changed, but that didn't always control emotion. Luna knew she'd control herself, but Draco was like a cornered animal, and those were always the most dangerous.
"I have two sons." Luna started, and reached for the teacup, spooning in a generous portion of sugar. "And a husband. Not yet of course, but I will. I look at them, and I try to imagine who it is that they love, because it cannot be me. I am hiding in Denmark, studying creatures that don't exist in England, and not even speaking the language outside of home. I want to be who they love. I thought you might help me find her." She was being bluntly honest, in her way - but skipping around the truth wouldn't get either of them very far.
"You seem very good at hiding, so I supposed we had that in common." She took a sip of her tea and smiled. "Oh this is very good. Thank you."
