Adrian hate hospitals, and usually went out of his way to avoid them. But when he'd woken up that morning, he'd known something was off. His head had ached fiercely, and despite knowing he'd been in bed the whole night, he didn't feel at all rested. Nightmares lingered around the edges of his memory, and when he blinked he saw Greyback's growl and flinched back from the mental image.
The sense of being off lingered throughout the morning, despite being up in the air and flying to try to drive it away. When he was flying a simple pattern to set out to use as a possible coaching technique and the broom wobbled under him and he lost balance and tumbled the short distance to the ground, he gave up work as a bad idea. He locked his broom up at home, then walked slowly to the hospital. His hip ached, his thigh was scratched, and he had a bruise over his cheekbone. He suspected there was more, but he hadn't bothered to look for it. If he was going to go to the hospital to get something for the headache (and fever? Merlin, he hoped it wasn't an actual illness with a fever), he might as well let them heal everything else as well.
When he walked in, he approached the first person he saw, noting that she looked vaguely familiar although he couldn't put a name to the face right away. "I need a Healer," he said simply, and waited to be served because after all, it was a hospital and that's what they did.
