Merlin, he was making it worse, wasn't he? He didn't know what to do. There was literally nothing he could do to fix what was happening around them. Or was there something he was missing? Hell if he knew. Not for the first time, he wished Summer was still around. He needed a therapy session; he knew that. He also knew going to his cousin was out of the question. He needed some impartial third party to lend some clarity to this disaster.
He didn't say anything right away. He just hugged her as hard as he could without crushing her poor sore ribs. He rested his head atop hers and ran a hand through her hair. "Don't be sorry," he soothed. "This whole week has been bloody horrid. Everyone is upset and you've been hurt and..." He sighed. He still felt guilty for leaving that night. He never expected one of "his" girls to get hurt during the whole fiasco. "Just don't be sorry," he begged. "We'd just miss you so we got upset. We want you to be happy, sweetheart." He decided then and there to speak with Eddie and Lily about releasing Polaris. There was nothing more they could do for her besides give her more muggle pills and keep her wrapped up. They could do that home. "I'll see about getting you home."
