She shook her head. "Remus...if someone placed an Imperius charm on someone, no one would blame them for their actions. It's the same for this situation, all right? You had no control, and it isn't because you were neglectful or didn't take your potions - it's because of the magic going all wonky. It is nothing you did, period. We had no way to prepare, and everyone was aware it was the full moon and you were going to transform. Everyone who was injured took the risk of being outside. That was not your decision. We - the rest of us - should've been much more careful and more vocal about the possibility of the Wolfsbane not holding, and I am so bloody sorry for failing you like that. I'm so bloody sorry for putting you in that position."
She leveled her gaze at him, not looking away as she touched an injured part of his cheek. "You're not a danger now, and you won't be for another month. If the magic isn't back by then, then we'll make damn sure to take every possible safety precaution. But there's absolutely no reason to isolate yourself until then. Not having you here would kill Teddy, and he deserves a father. I understand why you're feeling guilty and why you feel that separating yourself is the best solution, but it isn't a solution at all. It won't stop the wolf from seeking out the village next month, and it'll only hurt your friends and family. It's not an option."
