"I'm glad I'm not the only one to have thought such." While Azkaban was definitely far worse, this still seemed to be a prison of sorts. She got the gist of the 'not going home' bit right off, from the way everyone spoke about the place through the journal. It certainly wasn't going to be home for her though, and while it was probably naive, she did plan to hold out hope that she'd slip through the magical crag again and return to her old life ─ where she belonged.
"My loyalties are my own?" She laughed a little, mostly because it sounded quite foreign. "I guess that's a change." She didn't stop the sharpness of her tone from coming through. "Then I assume blood status is not a topic of much discussion here?" She glanced over at him, pausing just for a second at his touch. "I feel mad, that's for certain." Downright crazy, really. "It is seemingly less... stressful so far though." Just glancing around the village as they walked implied that. There was no screaming, no hallways filled with terror.
