When they were out in the cold air, he noticed she didn't have a jacket so he shrugged his off and handed it to her. Manners were still important to the young heir; besides, he had a sweater on too. "Very," he admitted. "For some, it brings out the best, but others the worst." He shook his head. "The mix of different times, you know, it is difficult. Some want to go backward, others forward, and all the while people are popping in and out." He could see his breath as he spoke. Damn, it was cold.
