He guessed that was an invitation inside so he brushed past her. Although he had an office at the castle, he hadn't been inside a room since he visited Bellatrix well over a year ago. It was funny to think how much had changed since that day. That had been the day his younger, still marked self decided to seek help for the dark magic that still tinged his skin. It was also the first time he really saw his aunt as human instead of someone he only feared and reviled. Now he was older and those memories were further away, but both the room and a "young" Tracey reminded him of what the village did for him. It also reminded him of how scared and worried he had been when he first arrived. Even if Tracey had acted coolly (in his mind anyway) over the journal, he suspected part of her might be freaking as he did way back when too. For that, he cracked a bigger, more sincere smile and shrugged. "Turned twenty-two a few months ago. I just look better with age, don't I?"
