Who: Romilda and Daphne What: Checking on a friend When: Saturday afternoon Where: Daphne's place Rating: low Status: closed
Romilda felt the sting of losing family for the first time when Juliana left. They'd had the occasion to talk and Romilda had enjoyed learning about her son. Kendrick had a solid head on his shoulders, had done well in school, and was well liked by many of his contemporaries. She had been so relieved to hear that the loneliness she had felt for all those years hadn't been passed down as a curse to her children. Still, if she felt the absent this much she couldn't even begin to imagine how Daphne must be feeling, especially with the coupling of Astoria's disappearance.
School here hadn't been too different from back home. The push to get assignments in before the holidays was brutal. Romilda hadn't been getting too many hours at the shop and had been spending even less time focusing on people that weren't able to be of assistance with her on her assignments. She'd been keeping herself so busy she hadn't really taken time to even flip through her journal so that is what she did today when she paused to take a break from her studies. That was when she noticed that there didn't seem to be any word from Daphne.
Packing up her books, Romilda took the little money she had, grabbed up one of the few comedy movies she had that she enjoyed and after hitting the cafe to pick up some sweets headed to Daphne's. Upon her arrival she knocked and waited to see if Daphne was home.
