Ted had adjusted very quickly to life in the village. He was one of the lucky ones here, he supposed. When he had arrived, his daughter was already here, and not long after he'd come, Andromeda had come. They didn't have to worry about the issue some other couples had had of being strange ages. He hadn't had to worry about people disappearing - Dora had joked about it, but there seemed to be some truth in her words about placing a Sticking Charm on each other. Most lucky of all, he was able to get to know his son-in-law and grandson, something he would never get the chance to at home. His fate was less than fortunate, yes, but in this time warped village, he didn't have to think about it much. Yes, his wife's less-than-welcoming family was here, but only a few of them, and he and Narcissa had surprisingly made much progress in the time they had been here. It was a good life here, and he was content.
He was coming back from the wireless station after a Sunday morning set, stopping by Goods and Stuff as Andromeda had requested to pick up some supplies for dinner. "Love, I'm home," he announced himself, as he entered into their cabin, glad for the warmth since it was so cold outside.
