Who: Vogg Naemsson and Jasper Dorny What: bonding time Where: Jasper’s house When: Backdated to Wednesday Evening
Vogg had not been doing well, which was really sort of an understatement. He wasn’t used to moping, but that is how it had been the last few days. It felt like everyone left him, and even though he knew it was simply the way of the village, it still reminded him a little of the day in his youth when they’d woken up and Alfarrin had packed away his prized possessions and taken off to the sea. There was a bitterness at being left behind, and a sadness in knowing that even if they came back, it would be different. Vogg wasn’t proud of how he’d handled himself for the last couple of days, particularly when Godric and Edwyn had to help him to his room from the pub, and thus, he’d spent most of the days in his office taking care of a few small wooden projects he’d been working on for the weekends festivals.
Today though, he decided he was done with that foolishness. He left the office, and stopped at Mike’s Corner long enough to pick up some pizza, and cheese fries, and breadsticks, and the thing that people called funnel cake before making his way to Jasper’s house with his arms full. He had not seen the boy in a few days, though he knew that he was here. Vogg knew that the best thing today, when feeling the sadness of those who left, was to surround himself with those who were still there. He couldn’t say what had drawn him to the sour faced youth, but they’d grown close, and Vogg cared for him as a son he did not yet have.
He banged on Jaspers door with a heavy hand, waiting impatiently with an arm full of food. “Jasper, it is I! Let me in!”
