Roxy had been in a weird state of mind as of late. It wasn’t bad, because she really was happy. She had her friends and family here, and she was content, but… she didn’t quite feel like herself. She didn’t much feel like the girl who played pranks and did yoga, and lived as spontaneously as she used to. More to the point, she didn’t know how to go back to being that girl, the one who was so alive and did the things that most people just thought about doing. Maybe she should go cliff diving, or mountain climbing, something that might bring the spark back.
She was staring off into space, doodling on her notepad and listening to the current song when Draco came in. It took her a second to notice him, but when she did, her face visibly lit up. She pressed a few buttons to add more music the the que and popped off her headphones.
“Draco!” She said, spinning in her chair, and jumping up to give him a large, friendly hug. She was grinning ear to ear, and she stopped to look at what Draco was pointing at.
“Um…” She shrugged at him, “I could make something up that sounds really cool, but I’m not one hundred percent sure what that button does. Maybe a sound effect or something? I don’t know… press it I guess and we’ll see.”
