Who: Evan Rosier, Open (no limit, would be nice if a few other DEs showed up)
What: Who knows?
When: Friday night, 22 November
Where: The pub
Rating: PG-13 for now, might be violence and/or language
There was a growing disquiet and unrest within him for the past few weeks. Evan hadn't stopped drinking that month, and even more disturbing to him was the fact his sleep schedule had nearly vanished overnight. He reverted back to the pattern from before his arrival, in the days where taking a nap was synonymous with laying your head down on a table and closing your eyes. Worse, the imaginings had returned, and blurred with reality. Drinking never helped, but calming draughts were never enough either, when those started. It was for the best that Narcissa moved out; Evan felt dangerous, even though he had no means to act upon it as he would have liked.
His relationship with Wilkes had been impacted by a difference of mere minutes between them, perhaps even strained; while he reverted back to their camaraderie as best as he could, there was an additional degree of fatalism. Drinking without end seemed like the only good solution to bring them closer, especially when the hallucinations started up again. Evan's interest in conversation had been diminishing.
Rosier finished his firewhiskey five minutes ago and sat tensely hunched over at one of the corners of the bar. If Wilkes had left, he didn't notice. He had no interest in talking to anyone right then. In fact, he was so incredibly irritated, he suspected he'd snap on the very first person who approached him, even if they were on friendly terms. He should have left the pub at that moment, but he didn't. Evan wanted trouble, he decided. Idly, he took out his wand and set the coaster on fire that his drink had been set on. There was a lot more smoke than ash when the cork began to shrivel up with the flames, too much for a cigarette or cigar. It burned hot, and when the flame approached his fingers, he threw the coaster off to the side and blasted it to fiery pieces. Evan leaned over and picked up another coaster, alighting it like the previous.
