Oliver hadn't expected anyone to come over. Well, Lucy had been supposed to come over for dinner, which Oliver hadn't prepared, assuming that plans were cancelled after Percy's sudden disappearance. "Hey," he said, blinking and taking the tin out of her hand without really thinking about what he was doing. "You wanna come in?" he offered, already stepping to the side so she could come into the house.
Comet was asleep in his basket upstairs, so Oli didn't have to worry about him running out through the door. The puppy liked doing that and while Oli usually didn't mind chasing him down, he didn't feel like moving at all at that moment. "I didn't make any dinner," he admitted. He'd pretty much forgotten all about that plan and had only remembered when he'd opened the door to find Lucy there. "And don't tell Percy I did that, he's not all that fond of my drinking habits. Less so, probably, if I tried to pass them on to his kids..." His face slowly turned into a frown. "Nevermind, forget what I said." He closed the door behind Lucy.
