Lucy stood awkwardly outside of Oliver Wood- and previously her father’s- door, an oversized tin full of double chocolate chip cookies clutched against her chest, not particularly sure of if she should actually be there. She wasn’t overly upset that her father had vanished from the village- it wasn’t exactly a new thing for her- but she was sure that Oliver would be and she genuinely wanted to make sure that he was alright. She was rather fond of him in the real world, and despite the fact that she knew this Oliver and the one she remembered were completely different people and this one didn’t even know her, well, it was hard to push that feeling aside. But she hated people nosing their way into her business when she was upset, yet here she was, attempting to hover.
She sighed and muttered under her breath, “Well we did have plans, and if I rescheduled my plans every time my father screwed something up, I’d never have any.” Finally, she reached a hand up and knocked on the door. When he finally answered she held the tin out, “I brought cookies.” Reaching into her bag, she pulled out a rather large bottle of Fire Whiskey, “And booze. There’s more in the bag. This is what you and I did when my husband passed away, so I figured it applied here, too.”
