Anything was possible, and though she was sure that Skeeter had originally brought Benjamin to the village to cause trouble, her uncles would do no such thing; they would bring him out of love, and this time, she would be ready. They might even be able to bring her other two children as well!
With a quick glance at the clock, Victoire returned to her cauldron, stirred it precisely seven and a quarter times clockwise, three and a a third times counter-clockwise, left the spoon stationary for eighteen seconds, stirred counter-clockwise sixteen and a half times over precisely nine seconds, and promptly removed the ladle, not letting a single drop fall back into the cauldron when she did.
The cauldron was then placed in the dark back room, to which she closed and locked the door, and the spoon thrown in the rubbish bin, never to be used again.
"Are we ready for that walk?" she asked, once all of that was done and she remembered there was someone in the room with her. If Fleur had said anything while Victoire worked, her daughter hadn't heard a word.
