Ginny was happy to see Harry's messy scrawl in the journals. She'd missed him since he disappeared and with the sudden arrival of so many people, she'd sort of been hoping he'd turn up. He must've been older. He'd mentioned her having a baby so he had to have been older. Not that it mattered. Well she hoped it wouldn't matter. It shouldn't, right? How much older could he possibly be? That depended on the kid, she reckoned. She was suddenly a bit more nervous than she ought to be.
Ginny had been on her way to check on things over at All Night Long, maybe take care of the inventory check that she had been putting off for a couple days because she had some free time and was up anyway. It was going to have to wait a bit though, now. Because not only was Harry back, but he needed to be walked through all the...quirks of the village.
That was the only bad thing about people coming and going so frequently around these parts. The dealing with the loss and then having to reexplain everything when they turned back up in a few days or weeks or months. She was sort of dreading it, but better do it quick before he ran into his mum and dad or Remus or someone and thought he was going mental.
Though it might be too late for that, come to think of it.
She made her way to the pitch as quickly as she could, choosing to fly because it would be quicker than walking and because she preferred it to apparating. She was wearing a pair of snug fitting denims and a light blue Weasley Jumper to protect her from the bite to the air and her messy red hair was pulled back in an elastic. She gave one loop around the pitch before she spotted him and quickly landed nearby.
"Oi!" She called out, waving at him as she made her way closer. A smile tugged at her lips, unable to hide how happy she was to see him.
