Cedric was in a brilliant mood. Ever since his father had shown up, he had more energy than he'd had in ages. His run had taken him nearly twice as far as usual, and he'd still had the energy to make breakfast for the house when he got back.
Now Ana was headed over, and Cedric was trying to keep the grin from his face, to little avail. He didn't know when things had changed between them, when she had gone from being a friend to something more, but Cedric was excited about it. He was excited to get over the emptiness Cho had left behind, and the horror he had felt seeing that thing down in the caves. Ana was helping with that, more than she knew.
Hearing her knock, he moved to pull open the door, smile widening at the sight of her so bundled up. "Come on in. I'll grab my coat and we can head out." His broom was already leaning against the wall by the door as he shifted his attention to the coat closet to drag out his jacket. "Not nervous, are you?"
