Lucky for him, she didn't really notice him blushing in the dim light around them. But if she had it would have only solidified her cute comments. Besides, she couldn't really say much. Rose had a habit of blushing when she was forced into strange situations as well. But oddly enough she didn't feel too uncomfortable right now, not even with the prospect of going over to a near stranger's house with two otters. Funny how things could turn out.
Plus, it was Rolf's offspring at the end of the day. He was best friends with Nate and Mike, two of her best mates. Somehow the term threatening didn't really come to mind when she looked at him. Really she was more comfortable than anything.
Laughing at his picture comment, she smiled. "Hey, at least this time I've been warned in advance this time." Though she hadn't been super big or anything yet where she came from, she wasn't exactly a stranger someone popping out with a camera and snapping her mid bite of spaghetti. Those people... she sort of hated. This? It was definitely okay.
Once they were back at the house, Rose accepted the second babe from him and walked in the direction of the living room. It really wasn't hard to find. After all, the house layouts were basically identical.
He returned rather quickly with supplies in hand, and Rose was thankful someone at least knew what they were doing. When Sonic had mites, she thought the world was ending and had no idea what to do, yelling out to the village for assistance. Here she was equally as lost, but willing to help in whatever way instructed.
Carefully placing each otter on the outstretched towel, she sat back on her heels and smiled while wrapping part of the towel securely around one. "You know, they're lucky you're really the one who found them. If it was just me, I would have probably freaked out because I don't know how to do anything animal related. Well... besides love them and keep them alive. I just tend to flip when anything semi bad happens. I'm an over-reactor, you know?" Now she was doing it, the rambling.
Shaking her head and brushing some of her hair behind an ear she gave him a sheepish smile. "So uh... were you having fun at the party?" Rose was slightly curious why he had been wandering away, and she had a habit of needing small talk to survive any social situation.
