Oliver was oddly glad that Peter didn't send him away. "I'm really bad at it," Oli said again, grinning a little. "But my dad showed me how to prepare the line and how to cast it. I probably wouldn't be any luckier than you though. I think I caught maybe three things in my life and one of them was an old hat." Oliver's father knew a lot more than that, like how to read the currents and during which time of the day which fish would be best to catch. He had told Oli about those things as well, but Oli couldn't remember.
