Maybe it was a bit rude, and Cho tried to cover the smile that broke out onto her face as she laughed, but the scene that had just unfolded before her was so unusual and funny; it also distracted her from immediately responding to the fact that Draco was Regulus' cousin. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh," she said quickly, but it had been months since she'd laughed like this back home and it felt good to experience it again.
"It's all right though. No harm done," Cho reassured in a patient and relaxed tone, squatting down to brush some of the apple mess off her shoes. She took out her wand and levitated the partially-squashed fruit over to the dustbin, then used evanesco on the remainder of the mess. It really wasn't that big of a deal; she had certainly seen bigger messes in marketplaces.
She bit her lip, then gently reached across them and pointed to one of the apples on display. "Try that one. If you grab one from up top on the pile, it's less likely to make an escape attempt." Okay, if Cho was being honest, she almost wanted to pat Draco on the shoulder for the fruit disaster just now.
