...except now that she was actually here, and someone had answered the door (for a tiny part of her had hoped that no one was home, because then she could justify any feelings of guilt by saying that she tried), she paused and made an odd stuttering sound a couple times before speaking her piece.
"Well--um. I was going to go grocery shopping as I've run out of things and I remember you said that you didn't plan on doing that, but, well, I'm going, because I need food for the week, and so do you, right, so you should come too. If you only eat packaged things you'll get sick because it's full of things that are bad for you."
Oh, hell. Her cheeks pinked a bit as she was making an utter fool of herself, but really, they were stuck in some strange village that only she and maybe two other people it seemed were unfamiliar with. It was amazing to see Cedric, but still -- she felt thrown off-balance by it all.
So she watched his face cautiously for any sign of reaction, her gaze determined as she waited for a response.
