Dennis shook his head, still looking down at his feet. He knew he had to tell how he got it but he really didn't want to. The idea of telling someone that he stole from them? Or even worse, that Colin stole from them, was terrifying to Dennis. He was even shaking a little and sniffling. "I don't know where that one is. Maybe at home?" As far as he was aware, Colin hadn't even packed them when he bagged up all their things and woke Dennis in the middle of the night to leave.
He sniffled again and looked just past Ollivander. "Colin stole it," his voice was barely above a whisper as he said it. "I stood by the window and kept watch. He took two. One for me and one for him." None of what he said was very loud. "I'm sorry," he nearly cried, louder this time.
